Re: DPF Issue Ford Mondeo 2012MY 2.0 TDCI Duratorq. You are correct sir. If the soot load is too high it will not allow a regen for fear of fire. When you refit the filter, go to service tab and tell ecu the filter is replaced and set counters back to zero. Dont forget to keep battery on charge while doing any reprogramming.

ford transit custom dpf regeneration keeps aborting. Firstly i have already posted this in the technical section but have just seen this mk8 section so maybe this problem may of been experienced on here by someone. i have a 15 plate ford transit custom that has recent dpf problems. first it wouldnt regenerate and it came back as been 140%
today i tried to activate the Regeneration process at once. in the Laptop goes the time from 0 to 20 minutes, and there is no Regeneration of the dpf. when i start the procedure manually, i give gas with the gaspedal up to 3000 rpm, and wait until the regenaration is ready, after 20 min. the dpf is cleaned.

It should reach 80 only after at least 300Km, then regeneration should start, after which it should be around 20, depending
