Extreme cases, unlikely to be the situation here, since the thread starter has already flushed the system and replaced the coolant & cap - I'm also fairly angry: My suzuki Vitara has developed an overheating problem. I've replaced cap, thermostat, waterpump, fan clutch. It runs cool for a few miles, then starts ByKipsterswife from Wichita, KS. Owns this car. We literally have 1.6 3door petrol, 2liter 5 door petrol or 2 liter 5 door turbo diesel that’s it and 99 percent of these would be manual. Then I would check the engine oil and make sure its not milky looking (head gasket). make sure when you fill it let it run with the cap open with you looking into the cap to be sure is circulating and j9yl6.
